Neither per se [legislation?--this is a constitutional issue first and foremost; what is acceptable legislation is a function of what the Supreme Court says, what conflicting right are/may be in play.

Defense dollars have to be spent better so we get more for what we need with that said, even the defense department should try to bank some of its funds for unexpected contingencies; the question is also vague by what is meant by defense spending. Black budgets, security costs buried in Departmental budgets (like State) are "defense" related; question is poor on tax increases; if increase is the result of making more income without a rate change that is probably ok; if the increase is created by a rate increase, no, without a compelling need being shown.

If it can be shown actual new jobs can be created by any of the above and if the jobs are in the US for US citizens, and there are benchmarks that are created that have to be met [to show economic growth and job creation has happened], yes, but if those jobs and growth is not created, there need to be sunset clauses in the granting legislation to restore the original tax rate.

Building Keystone for importing Canadian tar sands, no. Building a pipeline to transport US produced oil with all the state of the art & needed safety features/designs (like for the Bakken Oil fields in the US), yes, as we will have a less corrosive product & American jobs will be created from the construction & maintenance, the movement of oil to markets will be US regulated for US safety, make us energy independent & improve our balance of trade. Off shore oil production is not per se bad, just bad management and aged technology proned to fail I oppose.

Felons and mentally unstable people should not have same. Genetically code firearm trigger systems might be one good idea to reduce unauthorized and non-owner use. Gun cabinets for storage should be required. Tough subject that needs open and honest debate. I believe that law abiding, responsible and stable adults should be able to buy the firearms needed to defend their families

Not always feasible and seems too arbitrary. Factors are whether they have had families born here. Sending the bread winners home would create an entitlement burden. Some families face death squads if they return so there nay be valid asylum issue.

The trap is created by "investment" advisors that guess wrong and the available funds are forever lost, and if not all lost, the advisors or brokers take commissions and annual management fees for placing and holding the investment portfolio which reduces the funds to be invested--rather like a private tax.

On ag, we need to develop new seeds to deal with crimate and preciptation changes.
Need to collect fugitive income taxes that are being conduited through offshore operations where the money is actually made in the US but claimed as made off shore, eliminate tax breaks to US companies moving operations & jobs off shore. eliminate R & D tax breaks unless actual new technology or breakthrus are in development and the R&D is being done in the US by US workers, reduce green card issuances where there are American workers here to do the work
